SINERGY: New Album Pushed Back To 2007
September 19, 2006According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes Of Bodom, SINERGY's long-awaited new album, "Sins of the Past" — featuring American singer Kimberly Goss alongside CHILDREN OF BODOM members Alexi Laiho (guitar) and Roope Latvala (guitar) — has had its projected release date (through Nuclear Blast) pushed back to 2007. No further information is available at this time.
Nuclear Blast Records recently released a "Deluxe Edition" of SINERGY's debut album, "Beware the Heavens". The CD, which originally came out in 1999, features three bonus tracks, all of which have been previously released on assorted tribute albums: "Rock You Like A Hurricane" (SCORPIONS cover),"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (The Man After Midnight)" (ABBA) and "The Number of the Beast" (IRON MAIDEN).
SINERGY's last album, "Suicide by my Side", was released in 2002.
